A Buffalo Grove woman was killed Wednesday night after police say she was struck by a vehicle while crossing a major street in Niles . According to police, Svetlana Gerovaya, 68, was pronounced dead at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge about 40 minutes after the collision, which occurred at 7:22 p.m. in the 8300 block of Golf Road, near the Four Flaggs shopping center.
