Man Dies After Crash Involving Electric Bicycle Monday

A 73-year-old man died after crashing his electric bicycle in Danville on Monday afternoon, a town spokesman said. The bicyclist, identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as Danville resident Keith Howard, was riding his bike on Highland Drive near Lonesome Road at about 2:55 p.m. Monday when he hit a speed bump, town spokesman Geoff Gillette said.

Even if the Town Council can't outright reject a proposed 19-house residential development, it is asking for some changes, mainly, the size of the houses.
