Grants Available for Schools to Visit Lincoln Presidential Museum

Jan 18 - Macon County is one of five Illinois counties that can apply for financial help to visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and its special exhibit celebrating the Illinois bicentennial. The grants, after a generous donation from the John Ullrich Foundation,, will help pay transportation costs and admission fees for students in grades 4-12 to visit the presidential library between March 23 and June 30. Schools from Coles, Douglas, Macon, Moultrie, and Piatt are able to apply for these grants.
