Sullivan Square Improvements Out to Bid, Contract Coming

Bids have gone out for the short-term off-site traffic improvements that Wynn Boston Harbor is required to complete before it opens its doors in 2019, with contracts on the project likely to be awarded in the next few weeks. Wynn officials told the Massachusetts Gaming Commission that they are working towards the completion of bids for Sullivan Square and other off-site improvements - including traffic improvements in Everett, Medford and Revere.

In the wake of several police vehicles being brought into question for carbon monoxide leakage in Auburn, the Everett and Revere Police Departments have taken some precautions with similar models in their fleets. In Everett, Police Chief Steve Mazzie said when they heard the news last week that several officers in Auburn had been found sick with carbon dioxide poisoning from exhaust leaks into their cruisers, they decided to check their vehicles.
