Woman sentenced to 15 years in prison for Glen Burnie stabbing death

A Grasonville woman was sentenced to 15 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the stabbing death of a woman in Glen Burnie last year. Tashaya Raeshon Turner, 38, pleaded guilty to the charge in October after police said she stabbed 28-year-old Ikea Jackson in Glen Burnie in December.

Firefighters responded to a report of a fire at a house in the 500 block of West Court around 11:30 a.m., the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said. The department said responders saw "smoke coming from the side and roof of a two-story home that was a front unit of a quad complex."
