An Elkhart County jury convicted 28-year-old James Ross Jr. of two counts of murder Tuesday following a weeklong trial. The Goshen man was charged with killing 29-year-old Antonio McClain and 25-year-old Anthony McClain in September 2016 as the brothers from Saginaw, Michigan, were in the backyard of an Elkhart apartment house.

U.S. 6 Crash Kills Driver

A Mishawaka man was killed and a North Manchester man injured in a Wednesday morning crash near the intersection of U.S. 6 and CR 25. Anthony Eddy, 25, Mishawaka, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an Elkhart County Sheriff's Department news release. Richard Brown, 42, North Manchester, was transported to Goshen Hospital for a cut on his left hand and complained of pain to his right hand.
