Two Hollanders Hurt in Crash East of Zeeland

According to Ottawa County Sheriff's Sergeant Matt Wildfong, 26-year-old Kai Zichtesi of Holland was driving his pickup truck westbound on I-196 near the 72nd Avenue overpass when he came up upon the minivan of 61-year-old James Coleman ahead of him too quickly to stop. The rear-end collision caused the Coleman vehicle to veer off of the roadway, striking a tree and a sign, before coming to rest at the bottom of a ditch.

The book will focus on the history of how the Tulip City Airport grew from a grass landing field and a barn terminal into today's 50,000-flight-a-year airport. Teen struck on bicycle in good condition

The crash occurred at 144th Avenue and Butternut Drive Thursday evening around 10:11 p.m. Sgt. Jay Douglas with the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says 56-year-old Pamela Billingsley of Holland was eastbound on Butternut Drive in a 1997 Buick when she had stopped at the stop sign and proceeded eastbound passing through the intersection before she struck a bicycle that was crossing Butternut Drive southbound.

Ottawa County Dispatchers tell FOX 17 that the robbery happened just before noon at the West Michigan Community Bank at 82 Douglas Avenue in Holland. Deputies say that the suspect implied that he had a weapon and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
