Authorities with the Burglary Division of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office are looking for several men, who are accused of robbing two convenience stores by crashing a stolen pickup truck into the stores to steal the ATMs located inside. Sheriff Newell Normand reports that two separate burglaries occurred at two Brother's Food Marts in Metairie.

Grand jury indicts woman accused of pointing gun at Grapeland PD officer

A Houston County grand jury indicted a Grapeland woman who is accused of pointing a pistol at a GPD officer who went by her home to check on her after she texted family members that she was going to harm or even kill herself back in April. Ashley Lanell Hanson-Hadley, 36, was among the 31 people the Houston County grand jury indicted on Aug. 16. She was indicted on a first-degree felony aggravated assault against a public servant with a deadly weapon.
