A landmark East Boston diner's owner has been charged with cheating the state out of $60,000 in taxes on $861,000 worth of eggs, pancakes and coffee orders. Two more suspects in custody in connection with Kenwood Street slaying

Two more teen-aged suspects are in custody in connection with the slaying of a Boston teen in Dorchester earlier this year, police said. Boston police arrested a 17-year-old from Lynn and a 17-year-old from Dorchester Friday in connection with the fatal shooting of Chad O'Connor, 17, who was gunned down near 6 Kenwood St. in Dorchester on Jan. 14. Boston police arrested one of the teens near Beyer Place in Lynn on a warrant out of Dorchester District Court.

A Lynn family escaped without injuries from a fire at their wood-frame ranch Thursday night, the fire chief said. The one-alarm blaze began in the garage at 361 Essex St. and the flames quickly spread to the single-story home around 11:55 p.m., said Fire Chief Steve Archer.

High winds during Friday's storm helped fuel a two-alarm fire that destroyed a multifamily home in Lynn, displacing 11 people, officials said.
