Methuen police searching for home invasion suspects

Methuen police were searching for two men who allegedly broke into a woman's apartment Tuesday morning and held her against her will, officials said. Police responded to a report of a home invasion in a Ruskin Avenue apartment just before 11:30 a.m. The woman said the men - one of them armed with a long gun - "forced their way" in, held her in a bedroom, and fled, according to a statement from Methuen police.

Pedro Gonzalez, 26, is in police custody awaiting arraignment for charges including possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, and resisting arrest.
