EPA: New Bedford Harbor among top opportunities in New England

New Bedford Harbor has been identified by the U.S. Environmental Protection agency as one of two Superfund sites in New England with the greatest potential for redevelopment and commercial use. David Wong, 50, pleaded not guilty Jan. 8 in Falmouth District Court to one count each of photographing an unsuspecting person and possession of child pornography, records show.

Downtown New Bedford tavern to reopen after crash

The Pour Farm Tavern, closed Tuesday after a vehicle crashed into the front of the building, will reopen Wednesday evening, according to the manager. The crash happened when the driver of a 2012 Subaru Forester, identified as Anne M. Lamar, 24, of Lexington, struck the front of the building as she was attempting to parallel park in front of the bar at 780 Purchase St., according to the accident report.
