A driver who was stopped for an unclear license plate was arrested by Sparta Police when it was discovered that he had three outstanding warrants from two municipalities. At approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sparta police stopped a black Honda SUV with an unclear license plate that was traveling on Route 15. A Division of Motor Vehicles check indicated that his license was suspended and that there were three warrants out for his arrest - one in the amount of $66 from Long Branch, and two others totaling $953 from South Plainfield.
