Man pleads guilty to murder charges in fatal crash

A man has pleaded guilty to murder charges in a Pennsylvania crash earlier this year that killed two people, including a pregnant woman. Twenty-two-year-old Shone Santiago of New York City pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree murder and one count of third-degree murder of an unborn child.

Criminal Homicide Alleged In Sanatogan Death

An overdose death of a Sanatoga resident earlier this year is being attributed to the alleged delivery of drugs by a Pottstown man, who has been arrested and will be prosecuted for criminal homicide and other charges, the Montgomery County District Attorney's office announced Monday . Ronald Purvis, 32, of Pottstown , is accused of "drug delivery resulting in death," for which a conviction could result in a sentence of up to 40 years, according to District Attorney Kevin Steele.

Charges for stabbing incident bound over to higher court

A 31-year-old man accused of stabbing three people at an Armagh Township bar was present for a preliminary hearing at Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Reed's office on Monday. Following a preliminary hearing for charges stemming from an Aug. 27 incident where Jeffrey H. Schnure, of Milroy, allegedly stabbed a Pottstown couple and a an employee at Smitty's Bar and Grill, the case was handed over to the Mifflin County Court of Common Pleas.
