The Monterey County District Attorney announced Monday that two people have been sentenced to three years of formal probation and 120 days in custody for electronic benefit transactions trafficking in Salinas. Young Kim, the owner of Corner Market, and Seong Kang, an employee at the market, pleaded guilty to felony charges of illegal redemptions of CalFresh benefits that took place over a two-year period, prosecutors said.
