Illinois lawmakers will meet again next month in Springfield for a bipartisan hearing about the deadly Legionnaires' disease outbreak at a western Illinois veterans' home. State Sen. Tom Cullerton said Monday that the joint House-Senate hearing will be Feb. 7 at the state Capitol.

Grants will help students pay for trip to Lincoln museum

Students in five Illinois counties will get some help paying for their trip to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield. The museum says in a news release that grants that will go toward transportation costs and admission fees come from the John Ulrich Foundation.
