Sylvania police arrested a 17-year-old student late Friday afternoon, accusing him of making a bomb threat late Thursday evening at Southview High School, according to a statement made by Sylvania Schools superintendent Adam Fineske on the district Facebook page Sunday afternoon. A bomb threat was made late Thursday against Sylvania Southview High School, but school is scheduled to start on time Friday, according to statement from Sylvania Schools Superintendent Adam Fineske. Sylvania City Police, along with the Toledo Police K-9 bomb unit, conducted a sweep of the building and gave the all clear at approximately 1:30 a.m. Friday.
