Two charged with murder in November slaying

Murder charges have been added against two men and a third suspect has been arrested in connection with an alleged armed robbery and fatal shooting Nov. 18 in West Toledo. James Moore, 19, and Eric Jones, 25, were already charged with aggravated robbery stemming from the incident in the 1800 block of Bigelow Street during which Jerry McNeal, 31, was killed.

2 injured in weekend North Toledo shooting

Rico Villolovos, 27, of the 4400 block of Airport Highway, was found on the floor near a pool table at the Lion's Den Bar & Grill, 2814 Lagrange St., after the emergency call about 1:45 a.m. Saturday, police said. Mr. Villolovos had gunshot wounds to his face and the side of his torso, and police recovered four shell casings near him.

The robber entered the Huntington National Bank branch at 4105 Talmadge Rd about 10:30 a.m. and demanded money from tellers, the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Cleveland office said in a statement. The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, and nobody was injured.
