Tulare PD served the narcotics search warrant at 20147 Avenue 232 in Lindsay and arrested Jason Gilmore, 38, on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property and felon in possession of ammunition, and Josh Somersett, 45, on suspicion of possession of controlled substance for sale, possession of controlled substance for sale, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance, felon in possession of ammunition and violation of probation.

Tulare narc team destroys 100s of marijuana plants

Tulare County Sheriff's deputies arrested three people and destroyed hundreds of marijuana plants Wednesday after serving warrants at three locations in Ivanhoe, a sheriff's spokesman reported. Arrested were Jose Antonio Espinoza, 37, after 281 plants were seized in the 15900 block of Beechwood Avenue; Roberto Garcia, 30, after 55 plants were taken in the 32900 block of Road 57; Elizabeth Myra Lopez, 29 and Gerardo Magana, 27, after 82 plants were also seized in the 32900 block of Road 57. Officers also contacted residents at two other Ivanhoe addresses and one in Exeter, where about 600 more plants were eradicated.
